Good solid Mexican food - yummy margaritas, good homemade salsa. Kids menu is wonderful. I loved my chile releno great refried beans and rice. We loved the fajita salad too! Service so fast we're early for our movie (at the only movie house in town with one show at 8!). Saturday night drink special lime margarita! We'll be back.

Yikes. This place was just so-so for me. The salsa was all onions, the service was beyond slow (our waitress was busy texting and eating her lunch when I went to find her to give her our payment), and the food was slow too. My lunch (enchilada and taco lunch platter) was fine, but nothing special. And my husbands chicken and rice was not good at all- it was all red sauce and peppers, hardly any rice or chicken. It was very weird, and not something I'd recommend anyone ordering. Also, beware of the green mints at the end of the meal- not tasty. Next time we're in town, we'll probably look for another restaurant...

I am local and we eat here whenever we get a chance. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is friendly. You get plenty of food and even get a visit from the owner occasionally. The prices are reasonable and food is more than you can eat.

Friendly staff, festive decor, and pretty good food. Be sure to ask for the spicy salsa that they make in house, it adds a nice kick to any meal!

Stopped by here last night because I was in the area and it looked like a pretty decent place. Please be advised that this restaurant is very small inside and not good for large groups of people. There were only three of us so it was okay. The menu covered all the basic Mexican cuisine items. They had a $18.99 fajita special for two people so that was a pretty good deal. The chips and salsa came out and I'll be honest - the salsa looked like vegetable soup. It was disgusting. Salsa should be thick, not runny like soup. Even the flavor of it was nasty. So our fajitas come out (we got chicken and steak) and I was not impressed. The chicken and steak was tough; it had clearly been cooked too long. The steak tasted like cheap meat, not quality meat. There were supposed to be green peppers and onions, but there were way more onions than green peppers. They gave rice and beans with the fajitas, but it was a very meager portion. Our server was okay - he was nothing spectacular. Had to ask him for refills. He seemed more interested in his conversations with the other server. I don't think I will ever come back here again. I like my local Mexcian restaurant much more.

Food reminds me of when I lived in Central/South America. Portions exceptional, flavor balanced and staff helpful and friendly.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
